The dreaded stomach virus entered our home. Joseph and Julia have it so far. I am just waiting for the rest of us. Funny thing about stomach viruses, you just know it is going to run through the house. And there is nothing you can do about it.
I took a long Sunday afternoon nap with John Paul and woke up to a blanket of snow. It really is just beautiful. Last night Terry and I shoveled the driveway together in the dark and then took the dog for a walk. This snow looks as if it is flecked with glitter and it is powdery. Not good snowball making snow. The quiet of a night time snow fall is incomparable. It is so still and peaceful. There is no sound except for the falling snow which is so soft. I was telling Terry I hadn't heard this quiet since I was a child. It brought back so many memories of playing in the snow as a child. It was a nice little date :0)
Our tree is up and decorated. The stockings are hung. It is just so cozy in this room. You just want to sit and knit or read or play games.
There is no other place I would rather be. Well, I could do without the stomach virus. ;0)
