My family and I are praying for you and your beautiful family. What a beautiful baby Thomas is and I am so glad you are able to hold that precious child! I completely agree with Lucy! I am overwhelmed at the strength, love and faith you show. I will learn from you. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many. God Bless You! I hope to meet you one day at our beloved St. Martin's.

Continuing to pray for your family and precious baby boy.

Praying for you here, and thanking God for six precious hours. Thomas Joseph is beautiful.

I'm really appreciating the updates. I keep checking in hourly from my phone, but can't comment from there. I also love what Lucy said and wholeheartedly agree. Love and prayers for you constantly!

Oh Kirsten, he's lovely! I have been thinking about you so much - many prayers said. Love to you all!

Agree with all Lucy wrote. I'm glad I knew your family for a short time while you guys lived in Florida. You are all amazing and baby Thomas is beautiful! I've been praying and will continue.

So difficult, but such a blessing that you can hold him and show him Christ's love through your family!!!! You all are in our prayers. Thomas is a very blessed baby!

He is beautiful. Yes, yes, I agree with Lucy. God is great. Your love for the Lord is touching so many people, and in ways you may never know.

Amen to Lucy's comments!! God is being glorified and that IS our chief purpose here on earth. So we continue to praise Him. Your sacrifices are so precious to Him ans such a bold testimony to us. Praise God for answering your prayers. Im so happy you all get to love on Thomas. :) Thank you for sharing with us during these tender moments. What a blessing to see!

Continuing in prayer for you and your family.

So glad to read this post this morning. Still praying!

I can't even imagine the suffering you have and are enduring- and I'm sure in many ways you feel overwhelmed or weak or beyond your limits, but in my eyes you, Terry and the children are heroes. Your precious son is born, because of you - a holy child of God because of you- being loved and kissed and cuddled because of you- he is having food and medical care because of you and all you sacrificed for the joy of carrying and meeting the child God sent you. You acknowledged that he was a person, a child in your family with parents, siblings, a soul. And there he is! I'm humbled to "internet know" you and you will all remain in my prayers and heart.

Please know of my prayers for your family. He is breathtaking. God bless little Thomas. And God bless you all.
It is such an honor to hold your family in prayer. This is what the body of Christ feels like and I want to thank you for the privilege of knowing and loving Thomas.

About Me

  • Hi, my name is Kirsten. I am married to my best friend and we have nine awesome children including our little saint in heaven, Thomas Joseph. We are Catholic, loving, living, and learning about our faith every day. We just moved to a fixer upper farm here in beautiful Kentucky. We also homeschool some of our children. I really enjoy COFFEE, reading, gardening, running, and knitting. I try to enjoy, laundry and cleaning bathrooms and sweeping floors. But what I really love is to be home, with my husband and children, living this life. This blog is where I write about the good stuff (mostly). Thanks for stopping by!

Prayer to St. Joseph

  • PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH THE WORKMAN Composed by Pope St. Pius X O glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations, to work with gratitude and joy, in a spirit of penance for the remission of my sins, considering it an honor to employ and develop by means of labor the gifts received from God, to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without ever shrinking from weariness and difficulties, to work above all with purity of intention and detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account that I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all through Mary, all after thine example, O Patriarch, St. Joseph. Such shall be my watchword in life and in death. Amen.

A Considered Childhood by Elizabeth Foss

  • As much as I am able, every day, I will ensure that my child will: * Live the Liturgy * Experience loveliness * Breathe deeply: Fresh air and exercise * Serve others * Listen to, contemplate, and exchange ideas. * Develop expressive skills. * Practice logical reasoning. Math. * Receive focused attention and affection
