Small Successes 7
-
I successfully chauffeured 7 children around to their various activities. We even went to the park one day. Everyone arrived at their destination (almost) on time. When I was pregnant with John Paul I was really worried about how I was going to get the older kids where they needed to be and also take care of a newborn baby and the "littles", all the while making sure everyone was content. We had quite a few nursing pit stops along the way. All in all this week was a success. We will see how the orthodontist apt goes tomorrow though!!
2.Successfully hosted the first Women Growing in Faith Book of The Month Club and children's Saints Book of the Month Club since having John Paul. Again, I was a little nervous how I was going to pull it all together, there is always a mad dash in the morning to tidy the house and make sure I have a craft ready. The baby took a nice morning nap and made it all possible. We talked and laughed and ate and the children also did a craft. I love this group of women and their children and what I take away from these meetings. Huge Blessing!! 3. I survived my first week of no TV. I "gave up" TV for lent except for EWTN. It has been a little hard with American Idol on. But it is amazing, I have time to read now. It is the little things that we do in our vocation as "mommy" that make a difference. What are your small successes this week? To participate go to Faith and Family Live! eta: However, I can not successfully reduce the size of the font in this post. Go figure.
It is DEFINITELY a highlight of my month too, Am!
And Kirsten, I cracked up at the font size comment!

Book club was great. I think you are amazing for hosting it. I loved it this month and am looking forward to the next. I think it may be the highlight of my month. Don't make fun of me! The baby is SO cute.
I can't believe all the things you do and how calm you always are. I actually feel calmer whenever I'm around you.
This small succes thing is a cute idea.
