Tonight after dinner without being asked my almost 9 year old daughter and my 7 year old daughter. Cleared the table, put away leftovers, loaded and ran the dishwasher. Bathed the 3 and 4 yr old and put on their jammies. Changed the babies diaper and put her jammies on also. WOW. And they had fun doing it and working together. I never knew how to do this at their age. Now that is what I call a priceless, precious, education.
Now, to keep this real, I am going to tell you that this doesn't happen every night in our house. (That is probably why it was fun for them) But when it does it feels so wonderful. I am so proud of my girls!
