FOR TODAY, April 6, 2009

Outside My Window... The sun is out, with some clouds scattered about. I have not stepped outside yet so I am not sure about the humidity. We may get some more rain today. Everything is so green, including our pastures :0)

I am thinking... about the upcoming week. I have just been reminded of some appointments that I forgot about. How am I going to make this a prayerful, peaceful Holy Week with all of the outside activities? hmmm....

I am thankful for... my husband

****

From the kitchen... Bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Holy Thursday Seder dinner(maybe on Wednesday), this will be our first year doing this. My dad is going to be with us also so it should be extra special.

I am wearing... white t-shirt and pajama pants

I am creating... good memories 

****

I am going... to take a look at my computer time. I am going to cut way back. I am not liking how much time I am front of this screen.

****

From the learning room...  Language arts, science, history, math, living the liturgy, and reading. First Holy Communion Lap Book for Mary Jane this week and we are also going to re-start our TOPS science module this week. (we missed days last week and you can't do that) Love these science modules, by the way. Our main focus will be on Holy Week, so if I have to minimize on the other subjects I will. This is such a beautiful time in the Church.

I am reading....  Chosen and Cherished by Kimberly Hahn and Graced and Gifted also by Kimberly Hahn.  Love these books! Also reading Holiness for Housewives for our book of the month club. Three to get married by Fulton Sheen.

I am hoping... for a productive calm week.

I am hearing... Mary Jane putting cream cheese on her bagel and John Paul breathing.

Around the house... cleaning for Holy Week and preparing for Easter!!

****

One of my favorite things... a brand new week!!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: 

The usual activities...ballet, no Boy Scouts (they had a great camp out this past weekend). Grocery store and Target tomorrow? Church on Thursday and Friday.

I loved reading your daybook! That is such a precious picture!

I too feel like I am needing to cut back on my computer time -- it is so easy to spend WAY TOO much time online, isn't it!?!

By the way -- I just deleted the "recent comments" widget that I had added back to the sidebar shortly after changing everything. I've had problems with it before, but thought maybe it would work now... I hope that solves the problem?! I'm sorry!! =)

I know things have been crazy with my work, and I have been away even when I am home (my mind still focused on work issues) but I am very thankful for you and extremely appreciative for everything you do for me and our family. I will continue to pray to Mary, our Blessed Mother for her strength to continue in your heart and mind.
